Anchor or sail?

So, today is  the International Day of Happiness

The key to happiness is not just how you handle the future, but also how you deal with the past. You will struggle to find happiness if you allow your past to drag you down, or to hold you back.

It is time to make a conscious decision that the past is something to learn from. Something that powers you forward into a happy future, rather than holding you back in a difficult past.

We have all faced circumstances that we would have preferred didn’t happen. We all make mistakes, wrong turns or make bad decisions. Difficult situations that change the course of our lives.

We need to decide to let them be a sail powering us forward and not an anchor holding us back.
