‘Where are all the bright young things?’ – a date for your diary

I was recently reviewing my blog, and noticed that my most popular posting was called  Where are all the bright young things? Answers on a tweet please .

I wrote about the idea of organising an event where all the speakers were under 30, in contrast to most of the workplace related events that I attend or speak at where the contributors are somewhat older. I quote from the earlier blog ‘ Whilst experience adds value, and is all part of the rich tapestry of views available, where are all the bright young things?’

Well, I have finally got a date in the diary – the evening of 17th October. It will take place in Herman Miller’s National Design Centre in London. All I need to do now is work on the agenda, and more importantly think about what speakers would be able to make a valuable contribution to the event. So, if you have any recommendations, then please feel free to contact me.

In the meantime – here’s some real old school music from the great Nat Adderley. A number appropriately called Work Song
